LED Display

The Power LED and Error LED will let you know the status of the device, for instance if the power is on, and also if an error occurs (for example if the printer is out of paper).

The Power LED is the blue LED to the left, and the Error LED is the red LED to the right.

For normal use

Power off
Power LED and Error LED are both not lit

USB charging-only device connected
The status display changes after the Power LED and Error LED blinks continuously at the same time for 5 seconds

A USB device for which only USB charging is supported is connected to the USB port.
<Connectable USB conpatible products: iOS device, SCD222U>

When a tablet of other device is connected (to charge it, etc.), it blinks for approximately 5 seconds and then returns to the status display.

USB hub connection
The status display changes after the Power LED and Error LED blinks continuously in an alternative manner for 5 seconds

A USB hub is connected to the USB Type-A port. (The USB hub will not function)
When a USB hub is connected. it blinks for approximately 5 seconds and then returns to the status display.

Error display (automatic recovery error)

Error indicates it will move automatically to normal usage because the error status has recovered.
The status is online.

Stops printing due to detected high temperature for the head
Power LED is blinking (1/2 second intervals), Error LED is not lit

Since the printer head temperature is high, printing has stopped.
When the printer head temperature returns to a normal range, printing will resume automatically.

Stops printing due to detected high temperature for the substrate
Power LED is blinking (2 second intervals), Error LED is not lit

Since the substrate temperature is high, printing has stopped.
When the substrate temperature returns to a normal range, printing will resume automatically.

Error display (error in which recovery is possible)

Error indicates that normal usage is possible if paper is replenished or when cover is closed or such steps are taken.
Status is offline.

Cover open error
Power LED and Error LED are lit
