LED Display

The Power LED and Error LED will let you know the status of mPOP, for instance if it is in normal standby, if it is waiting for Bluetooth pairing to be performed, and also if an error occurs (for example if the printer is out of paper).

The Power LED is the blue LED to the left, and the Error LED is the red LED to the right.

For normal use

Power off
Power LED is not lit, and the Error LED is not lit

Power off status.

Turn On/Off Power
Standby status
Power LED is lit, Error LED is not lit

Power on, standby status.

Initializing Bluetooth
Power LED and Error LED will blink twice.

Bluetooth is being initialized.

Initialize Bluetooth
USB charging-only device connected
After the Power LED and Error LED blinks together for 5 seconds, it will move to the normal status display

A USB device for which only USB charging is supported is connected to the USB port.
<Connectable USB conpatible products: BCR-POP1, SCD222U and DS9208>

When tablets and such are connected for charging, it will blink for about 5 seconds and return to the status display.

USB hub connection
After the Power LED and Error LED blinks alternately for 5 seconds, it will move to the normal status display

USB hub has been connected.
(USB hub cannot be used)

Will blink for about 5 seconds after the USB hub has been connected, and return to the status display.

Error display (automatic recovery error)

Error indicates it will move automatically to normal usage because the inside temperature of mPOP has decreased.

Stops printing due to detected high temperature for the head
Power LED will blink once, Error LED is not lit

Since the printer head temperature is high, printing has stopped.
When the printer head temperature returns to a normal range, printing will resume automatically.

Stops printing due to detected high temperature for the substrate
Power LED blinks twice, Error LED is not lit

Since the substrate temperature is high, printing has stopped.
When the substrate temperature returns to a normal range, printing will resume automatically.

Error display (error in which recovery is possible)

Error indicates that normal usage is possible if paper is replenished or when cover is closed or such steps are taken.

Printer open error
Power LED and Error LED are both lit

The printer cover is open, or the printer is not locked.
Set the paper and close the printer cover, then lock the printer and it will move to the standby status.

Paper Setup
Out of paper error
Power LED is lit, Error LED blinks

The printer is out of paper.
Set the paper and close the printer cover, then lock the printer and it will move to the standby status.

Paper Setup
Cash drawer open error
Power LED is lit, Error LED blinks once

The cash drawer has failed to open.
Remove what is preventing the cash drawer from opening and perform the cash drawer opening operation again. When the cash drawer opens normally, it will move to the standby status.

Set bills/coins
When Cash Drawer does not open

Error display (error in which recovery is not possible)

Try turning the power off, and then on. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, contact the seller.

Cutter error
Power LED not lit, Error LED continues to flash

The cutter did not operate properly.
If paper is jammed, then remove the paper, reset the paper and confirm whether the error is resolved.
If the error is not resolved, try turning the power off and then on again. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, contact the seller.

Paper Jam
Paper Setup
Abnormal power supply voltage detection error
Power LED is not lit, Error LED blinks once

Supply of power is not consistent. Or, abnormality has been detected for the power unit.
Try turning the power off, and then on. Try changing the location for the electrical outlet and turn on the power again. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, contact the seller.

Connect Power Cable
Printer head thermistor error
Power LED is not lit, Error LED blinks twice

An abnormality has been detected for the printer head thermistor (temperature sensor).
Try turning the power off, and then on. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, contact the seller.

Turn On/Off Power
Bluetooth communication error
Power LED is not lit, Error LED blinks three times

An abnormality has been detected on the Bluetooth module.
Try turning the power off, and then on. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, contact the seller.

Turn On/Off Power
Flash access error
Power LED is not lit, Error LED blinks four times

An access error has been detected for the flash.
Try turning the power off, and then on. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, contact the seller.

Turn On/Off Power
EEPROM access error
Power LED is not lit, Error LED blinks five times

An access error has been detected on the EEPROM.
Try turning the power off, and then on. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, contact the seller.

Turn On/Off Power
No response error when a USB device is connected
After the Power LED and Error LED blinks alternately(0.25second interval) for 5 seconds, it will move to the normal status display

This error is detected when there is no response from a USB device that was connected to a USB port. The LED will blink for about 5 seconds and then return to the status display.

Try disconnecting the USB device and installing it again. If the same error is displayed after the above action is performed, that USB device cannot be used.

Connect USB Cable
Set Up External Devices

Note

If you find an error other than the above, try turning the power off, and then on. If the same error is displayed even after the power is turned on again, it may be a printer malfunction. Contact the seller.
